Following a merger in July 2014 with Hanbit Law firm of 19 members, Hankyul is now ranged the 14th largest in Korea with attorneys.
Hankyul also opened in 2014 the Pan-gyo center at the heart of the Pan-gyo Techno Valley, an R&D complex focusing on IT, BT, CT and fusion technology that has been developed by the Government of Gyeonggi-do Province (http://www.pangyotechnovalley.org/eng/).
When Korean Commercial Arbitration Board accounced a new pool of arbitrators in 2014, 11 members of Hankyul were selected.
After former Justice DH Song of the Constitutional Court, who was a founding member of Hankyul, re-joined Hankyul in 2013, Hankyul also welcomed former Minister of Trade HJ Kim in 2014.
In 2014, Mira Sun (member of FLI Executive Management) was re-appointed to the Board of Directors of the Korean Human Rights Foundation for her 3rd term and was also appointed as the statutory auditor of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra.
