Achievements:

• Prior to joining FLI in 2010, Mr. Dresbach served as Senior Counsel for LyondellBasell Industries,  (one of the world’s  largest polymers, petrochemicals and fuels companies) and its predecessors, where, over the course of 20 years, he had a widely varied international practice as in-house counsel responsible for business activities of the company  outside of North America and Europe.
• He has had extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and start-up projects in numerous countries throughout Asia,  the Middle East, former CIS and South America as well as in Europe, the US and Australia.  Several of the projects and joint ventures in which he has played a key role have been ground-breaking.  
• Mr. Dresbach’s extensive and varied finance experience has included award-winning project financings involving commercial banks and ECAs on 4 continents (incuding Islamic/Shari’a compliant  structures), and record-setting corporate financings,  capital markets placements and asset-backed securitisation programs. 
• He also has served as in-house counsel to various group companies throughout the globe on general corporate and commerical matters and litigation management.
• Prior to joining LBI’s predecessor companies. Mr. Dresbach was in private practice in Tokyo, Japan, where he focused on structured finance and inward bound investments in Japan.
• Mr. Dresbach has lived in Brussels for 13 of the past 15 years, and also has resided in The Netherlands, Japan and Bangladesh.
