FIRM:

The Firm Budin & Partners (formerly Lalive Budin & Partners) is one of the largest law firms in Geneva. Established in 1965, the Firm has been able to retain its liberal professional character while at the same time developing a modern structure based on a teamwork among partners and associates having skills sets covering the major areas of commercial practice. Consistent with this policy, client work is assigned to the most competent lawyer, with regard to experience and expertise commensurate with the task assigned.

The Firm has also an office in Lausanne since 2006.

From its origin, the Firm has not only been proficient in all areas of the law, but developed important specialization in international transactions, litigation in domestic courts and arbitral tribunals within and outside of Switzerland. It has developed a large network of international correspondents and other contacts. Each member of the Firm is at least bilingual and works either in French, English or German.

The Firm's engagements on behalf of clients are based on the essential idea that individual qualities combined with teamwork result in optimal efficiency and results and in order to achieve this, the Firm has developed and applies a highly selective recruitment policy to ensure that any lawyer of the Firm has the required competence and also the intellectual, ethical and professional qualities to meet our professional standards. Many of our lawyers have worked as trainees in law firms in the U.S. and in other jurisdictions.
